Mindil beach

Today Fiona dropped me of at the Darwin YHA. I thanked her again for the pleasant stay, we say goodbyes. I put my backpack in the common locker and walked towards the Museum & Art Gallery via the Botanical Gardens. It's located near Darwin High and above Mindil Beach. The museum is nice, it's free and there is lots to see. Aboriginal Art, boats, crocodile skulls, different animals,... more then enough to fill up my morning. I headed back via the coastal walk and arrived back in my hostel in the late afternoon.

I checked in and arranged a 3 day trip to Kakadu and Litchfield national park. It costs a few dollars but I think it's going to be worth it. It's hard to do the tour on your own because the parks are so damn big and I ain't got a car. Anyway I met up with my new roomies, had a shower had a few chats and went to the cinema with them. We went to see Public Enemy?. The movie was ok, not that great,maybe because it felt like a freezer inside. I was glad to be outside again so I could warm up my arms again. Next time I have to bring a sweater...

I was dead tired, I had to fight my sleep during the movie and as soon I was back on my bed I felt asleep instantly.
