Alice Springs

At around 1pm we arrived in Alice Springs. Tom dropped everyone of and we where going to meet up again at 7pm to have dinner together. Chris and me went to give the town a look. All seems kind of dead on a Sunday afternoon. It looks a bit like Darwin, just a tad smaller and less expensive. Their seems to be as much art and didgeridoo shops. The weather feel less hot because we crossed the Tropic Of Capricorn a few hours ago. We gave Anzac hill a try which gave us a nice view all over Alice Springs.

In the evening everyone met up again at the bar next to our hostel. We had a good dinner and enjoyed great live music. After dinner a bus took us uptown and dropped us of at Bojangles, a local pub. To bad I don't have any Belgium numbers stored in my phone because you could ask people to visit their website, watch the video feed and buy you a drink. (omg so web2.0!)

Went back home at about midnight realising that my throat hurts. The aircon of the last few days gave me a cold. Darn it. Tomorrow a trip to Woolworth buying fruit and veggies!
