To the beach!

I had a great sleep today. My batteries are drained and there is still a bit of sickness inside of me. Anyhow I decided to start the day with another run near the University of Adelaide. As soon as I started running my knees and my foot started hurting. I guess the last two days asked quit a lot from my back and lower body. So I ran for about 15min and gave up. Instead of running a loop around the river I walked towards the botanical garden. After a rather quick stroll through the rather nice looking garden I return home via Rundle Mall.

At the hostel I met up with some friends and we decided to go to the beach. So we took the tram towards Glenelg and had a solid afternoon walk to Brighton (I think) and back. It was windy but it felt good to blow out. Within our 30min break at Coles I called to retrieve my Tax File Number. I thought I had it but apparently I just had the application number for the TFN, not the TFN itself... (typical) I need the TFN to get the paperwork done for my 2 day job at the Adelaide Show. So tomorrow I will be heading down to the Adelaide Show Grounds again and try to get hold of my money. Hope it will be a walk in the park but I don't expect it to be.

So after the walk I felt really tired, I just could sleep right away. I microwaved my Thai Curry dish from yesterday and went to McDonalds to try out the wireless. To bad it's to slow to Skype. I also tried to upload my pictures on Facebook but the upload seems to be halting in the end. I got this problem with every freaking Free wireless spot. It drives me nuts, the upload works fine but it just doesn't want to finish the last bit or something. I'm a cheapass and I don't want to pay 8 dollars just to upload all my pictures from Sydney till now. Sigh... I ended up uploading the rest of my precious credit back in the hostel. I managed to upload one of my albums, the second one only made it till about 99percent before my credit ran out... sigh again. Anyway maybe I give MacDonalds another try later this week.
